Christine Wood
DIRECTOR

A
Christine trained as a nurse and having raised a family in Dorset returned to the care industry by acquiring Millbrook House in 1997.  During this time the home has undergone an extensive refurbishment.  Although Christine does not live on site she is often seen at the home and gives her personal attention to the smooth running of Millbrook House.

Molly Burrows
HOME MANAGER

Level 5 Diploma in Management of Health and Social Care
Molly has worked in the residential care industry since 2002 and has been managing care homes since 2010.  She joined Millbrook House in August 2017, bringing with her a wealth experience and skills.
Molly’s primary responsibilities are to oversee the management and administration of Millbrook House, alongside ensuring the home and its staff are compliant with Care Quality Commission regulations, Health and Safety Legislation and Law and policies set by national and local Government. The most important part of Molly’s role is to recruit the right team to ensure the smooth running of the home, maintaining a safe environment for the Staff and its Residents.

Zoe Breaden
ASSISTANT HOME MANAGER

Level 5 Diploma in Management of Health and Social Care
Recognising the need to expand our management team, Zoe is the newest member of staff to join Millbrook House, providing Molly with the assistance and support needed to manage the home. Zoe acts as Home Manager in Molly’s absence and takes a lead role overseeing staff progression to ensure the very best care for all of our Residents.

Janeth Paz
HEAD OF CARE

Level 5 Diploma in Management of Health and Social Care
Janeth has been at Millbrook House since 2004, initially as a Senior Carer she has now progressed to Head of Care.  This role supports the Home Management Team but primarily oversees all aspects of care for our Residents. Responsible for the management of the Care Team, liaising with health professionals and managing medical appointments. Janeth ensures medicines are managed safely and updates care plans to reflect the ongoing needs of each Resident.

Jemma Dare
TEAM LEADER

Level 4 Diploma in Management of Health and Social Care
Jemma Joined Millbrook House in April 2017 as a senior carer and has recently gained promotion to Team Leader. Currently working towards her Level 5 Diploma she leads, develops and co-ordinates the Care Team alongside the management of the Domestic and Maintenance teams. Jemma regularly conducts 1:1 supervisions to ensure that Millbrook House is compliant in all areas of Care and Health and Safety for our Residents.

Jinky Magmanlac
SENIOR HEALTH CARE ASSISTANT

Level 3 Diploma in Management of Health and Social Care
Jinky joined Millbrook House in 2006 and in conjunction with Joy is the senior in charge and first point of call for the Care Team. She has a joint role in the management of medication, alongside the leading, developing and coordinating of the care team, to provide the highest standards of respect and care for our Residents.

Joy Catbagan
SENIOR HEALTH CARE ASSISTANT

Level 3 Diploma in Management of Health and Social Care
Joy joined Millbrook House in 2008 and in conjunction with Jinky is the senior in charge and first point of call for the Care Team. Steve Dare
HEAD CHEF

NVQ Level 3 in Hospitality & Catering
Steve is responsible for all of the catering requirements at Millbrook House, from sourcing and buying produce to developing varied menus to suit our Residents tastes. Together with his Catering Team he ensures that all of our Residents receive the necessary nutrients in their daily diet.

Catherine Pitchford
ACTIVITIES COORDINATOR

A
Catherine has the fortunate role of creating and managing the monthly programme of activities for our Residents, which has a strong focus on variety and stimulation.
