We have recently been awarded a ‘Commend’ by the Gold Standards Framework. This ensures that by working very closely with the GPs, District Nurses and other care bodies, we provide the best possible end of life care.
Our regulated activity is “Accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care”.
Millbrook House is committed to offering the best care. Each resident has a personal care plan, which with their input reflects how they want to live and how they want to be supported and cared for. We assist by taking into account all of their needs; physical, mental, social and emotional, to create a bespoke care plan that maintains their welfare and promotes the resident’s well-being at all times. This care plan is compiled during the first 2 days in residence and is reviewed continuously to meet changing needs.
In addition, our daily living and activity routines are centered around the Residents interests and requests, which provide variety and stimulation.
Residents are fully involved and are encouraged to take an active part with all matters in relation to their care, and access to their own records are readily available. All personal records held are secure and accurate and are all in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and other statutory requirements.
